I grew up in Hildesheim near Hannover where I finished high school in 1984.
In 1986 I moved to Berlin to study sound engineering at "Universität der Künste Berlin" which I finished in 1993.
After having my diploma, I „changed sides“ and have been working as a video editor since then.
 

Documentary directors appreciate that I am experienced in both – video and sound.
Based on my long-time experience as a documentary editor I often make the pre-edits independently and can thus reduce the workload of the director.
 

In music documentaries (ZDF, Arte and other), DVD/blu-ray concert productions (EuroArts Music International, Accentus Music, Danmarks Radio) and music-shows I can fully leverage my music background.
 

Since 2008 I have been also working as vision mixer during the live internet broadcasts of the so-called Digital Concert Hall performed by the world famous orchestra Berliner Philharmoniker.

For the German broadcaster ZDF I often edit during mobile TV productions like FIFA Football World Cup, UEFA European Football Championship, Olympic Summer and Winter Games.
During these productions I collected practical experience in working on TV broadcast vans and in handling server systems like interplay in IBC (international broadcasting center).

Note: I play the piano and viola and I am a football fan of
Eintracht Braunschweig and Hertha BSC ... :-)

I am partner of PLUFF.tv Filmschneiderei GbR. We own an editing room equipped with Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer and Edius Pro.

The studio is located in a shared office of representatives of the media. So the production company Finkernagel & Lück Medienproduktion, the camera man Boris Fromageot, the grafic designer Wolfgang Rosenthal, the artists' agency Ekkehard Jung and the photographer Boris Streubel are working under the same roof spreading a lot of team spirit!

Because we spend a lot of time together, we are well networked, work hand in hand and we are doing our utmost for our customers.
 

You can find us in Barbarossastrasse in Berlin-Schöneberg.
It is a former Swabian restaurant with a lovely garden.
